Env 4/25/22 Boat Excursion

This picture, taken on the boat excursion, shows what I believe to be a pair of Black Storm-Petrel. One is taking off, while the other is swimming. Over the course of my time in the Env104 course, I have been able to learn how coastal Maine’s environment differs from that of my home town in Mass. There is a greater abundance of fungal life than I have seen at home, with large mushrooms being more common up here. As well, I learned that the fungi that glow in the dark grow around here, and not exclusively in tropical areas as I had previously thought.
